Contributing to Montpelier businesses’ GoFundMe campaigns is one of the best to help out downtown, if you can! A lot of us are weeks away from being able to reopen (some of us aren’t able to reopen 😞) and we still are in need of financial assistance. I read that the estimated average in business losses from the flood is $186,000 🤯
If you normally spend $3 a day on coffee at Capitol Grounds Cafe then consider making coffee at home for a bit and donating that amount to them instead.
If you normally eat out or get drinks with friends once a week maybe that $50 could go towards your favorite downtown business. Also, a lot of us businesses have set up gift cards online like Bear Pond Books
